What training costs - what you pay for and what you get

No joining fee, no contracts, no compulsory kit.

We publish prices in full on the website, because we think that should be clear before a first visit rather than after it. This piece explains what sits behind those numbers.

What it costs

Morning classes (Mon, Tue, Thu, 6:00-7:15): €99 a month for three times a week, €269 for three months.

Afternoon classes (Qi Gong 17:30, Kung Fu 18:30): €99 a month for twice a week, €269 for three months covering both practices (€69 or €189 for one of them).

Children’s group (up to 16, twice a week): €70 a month, €190 for three months.

Private hours by arrangement; the price depends on frequency and on whether you come alone or in a pair.

Cost per class is a fairer measure than a monthly fee.

Why we quote a cost per class

A monthly fee is a poor measure, because it does not say how many hours you actually get. So next to every price we also give the cost per individual class.

For morning training three times a week that comes to roughly €7.62 an hour. For afternoon training twice a week, roughly €11.43. A three-month package lowers it further.

That is the number worth comparing - with other schools, with a gym, or with an hour of private training.

What is included

  • Every class in your chosen slot. There is no upper limit on attendance.
  • Corrections and individual attention. The groups are small enough for that not to be an empty promise.
  • Use of the space. A hall with a wooden floor and a changing area.
  • All content. Forms, technique, Qi Gong and Sanshou, with no surcharges for particular modules.

What you pay for is a teacher's time and a space. The rest is your work.

What there is none of

No joining fee. We charge nothing for starting.

No contract. You pay for a month or three months. If you stop, you stop.

No compulsory uniform. You can train in your own sportswear, including a year in. Anyone who wants a uniform buys their own, and not from us.

No grading fees. Progression here is not a product.

No club membership fee payable on top of the training fee.

The first visit

You can start with a single visit. You sign up, you train, and if you decide it is not for you, you simply do not buy further.

That is the only honest arrangement: no website can tell you whether the training will suit you - which is why you can take a single visit or a ten-visit card before committing to a monthly pass.

What you are really paying for

You pay for two things: a teacher’s time and a space.

Everything else - progress, mobility, calm, technique - is not in the price and cannot be bought. That is your work, done in those hours and between them. A school can give direction, correction and an environment; the work is yours.

Which is why the best investment is regular attendance rather than a more expensive package.

It does not matter how slowly you go, so long as you do not stop.

If the price is an obstacle

Say so. For school and university students, the unemployed and families with several children, a good deal can be arranged.

We would rather have someone training at an agreed price than not training.

How to start

Look at the schedule and prices, pick the slot that suits you, and book a first visit. You can join at any point in the year, mid-month included - in which case the first month is charged pro rata.
